Présentation

Course description : 

This course aims at providing the students with knowledge about the main wastewater processes and how the management of a sanitation system is an important tool for safeguarding aquatic environments

Course structure:

-        Description of a sanitation system

-        European regulatory framework for sanitation

-        Description of the main processes for wastewater treatment : activated sludge, biofilters, emerging processes

-        Case study : evolution of the quality of the Seine in relation with the progress of the sanitation
